Sadly they failed to deliver

I am a past user of Montway, so I understand their service door to door. On my recent shipment back to my home, the driver called at 7:30 at night, and said said I will be at a rest area in 90 minutes, you need to be there to pick up your car. I reminder him, I purchased door to door service. he replied it is what it is, be there at 9:00 PM. The location provided was not near my home or even in the same town. In fact it was not in the same county. The drive had no concern as to my ability to meet him in such a short time. The next Morning I called Montway to complain that they failed to deliver on their contract. They later replied that the driver said that delivery to my home would present a safety issue. When I disagreed I asked for my concern to be escalated. In escalation they apologized for the incident. There is not excuse for not delivering to my door. Clearly they have some rogue drivers doing whatever they want including bullying seniors. It is difficult for me to believe this driver didn't also treat others the same way as he thinks.. This is how it works. Would you be satisfied?

Hello Ron. We apologize for the inconvenience. Drivers do their best to pick up and deliver as close to your locations as possible. There are many factors, both physically and legally, that can prevent drivers from accessing certain areas. These include but are not limited to narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps, tight turns, etc. Unfortunately the decision is solely up to the driver, which is why Montway does not in fact charge for door to door service. We do understand the inconvenience of having to meet the driver. So we prepare all customers ahead of time by providing them with complete details of the services upfront.
