We needed to ship a 2007 Honda Accord from New Jersey to California. After reading the numerous horror stories I was pretty terrified about the process. Despite that, our experience with Montway was smooth from strong to finish. The sales people that helped me patiently helped answer all my questions before giving us a quote that was in line with other quotes I got. We had some time constraints so opted for the small up-sell to get a 2 day pickup window, which they hit right on. One small unexpected hiccup is that the day before the pickup, the truck driver called to let me know that his truck wouldn't be able to make it all the way to the house so we would have to meet him at a local place to drop off the car. Initially I was annoyed because I had specifically asked for door-to-door service, but looking closely the contract does say that this might happen. The driver was definitely accommodating and offered to arrange an Uber back after dropping the car off, but we ended up not needing to do that. What really surprised me is how quickly they got the car across the country. We were given a window of about 7 - 10 days, but then got surprised when they called to arrange delivery in only 5 days! So all in all we were very happy with the whole process. The car is old and has its fair share of cosmetic blemishes already so we didn't really worry about the open transport or any dings or things. No horror stories from us, and glad it was an easy process.
