Hello Randy, I'm sorry to hear about the inconvenience. Damages are not an expected part of the shipping process but they can happen. As a broker, we mitigate this risk with a dedicated compliance team and the most sophisticated vetting in the industry.
Please know that the interior of the vehicle is not mandated by DOT (https://www.transportation.gov/) regulation. Thus is not part of the Bill Of Lading inspection process and is thus uncovered by cargo insurance. This is standard for all motor carriers in the auto hauling industry.
