I choose Mercury Auto Transport over several other companies because of their good reviews across the board and because they are BBC accredited. Ronnie was my agent and he took his time explaining the whole car shipping policy to me. I had a 3 day window where l originally wanted the Jeep shipped out. I got a text everyday from Ronnie, thereafter, saying that he would be hearing back from a carrier at anytime.. 9 days passed hearing basically the same thing. So l reminded him of my time frame that l needed to have the vehicle shipped out. He replied, telling me he was waiting around trying to get me a cheaper rate. Well imagine my surprise when he contacts me a day later saying that he was in contact with a carrier who would be willing to pick up my vehicle. I was excited until l heard how much they were wanting. My quote was $926 and they wanted $1,400. Over $474 more than what l was originally quoted. I was told by Ronnie that l didn’t have to accept it but after 9 days of waiting l felt pressured to get the vehicle delivered before my time frame lapsed. I was also frustrated when l was told that Wednesday would be the drop off day. I had originally told Ronnie that Wednesday was a bad day because l and my family all worked on that day. I asked if the vehicle could be dropped off after 5. Ronnie said that he would check with the carrier to see if that could be accommodated. He said that it wouldn’t be any problem. Unfortunately, it was a problem because the carrier called me the day before delivery saying that he would be dropping the vehicle off between 2-4 and that he really didn’t want to wait til after 5 to deliver the vehicle to me. I told him that the broker ( Ronnie ) said that it wouldn’t be a problem but obviously it was . Thank God that my boss let me out of work to meet the carrier to get my vehicle. The actual delivery time was around 3:50. The silver lining in all of this is that the Jeep was delivered in good shape.

We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear that your Jeep was delivered safely and in good condition. We understand how frustrating delays and unexpected price changes can be, especially when you're working within a specific time frame. Ronnie did take your original window and delivery preferences seriously, and he worked diligently to find a carrier that fit both your timing and budget. As you mentioned, he was in contact with you regularly and even turned down higher-priced offers in an effort to find a better rate. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the auto transport industry, prices can fluctuate based on carrier availability and market demand—especially when deadlines are approaching. As with all shipments, the pickup and delivery dates are estimated, not guaranteed, and we always pass along time preferences—like your request for delivery after 5 PM—to the carrier. Ultimately, though, the carriers are the ones who schedule the actual pickup and drop-off times based on their route and logistics. We're sorry for the stress this caused you and appreciate your patience throughout the process. We’re happy everything worked out in the end and your Jeep arrived safely.
