First off, know that this car transport business is highly competitive, with over 4K brokers and as many actual truck companies who bid on your shipping request. While I registered my request to ship a car from KY to Oregon on USHIP, Deb Cirello with Mercury Auto is the only person that I could find online who had a web page that explained the process, the pitfalls etc. and actually helped prepare me for the onslaught of texts, phone calls and inflated bids that came my way. In fact, I tried a different broker first because they had the lowest price of all of the unsolicited bids ($1050), but it was soon evident that this was just to get me to sign on. After waiting about a week, I would then get a phone call from the broker rep telling me "I can ship your car tomorrow, but the trucker wants $2200 (or $1700, or $1850)." Needless to say, I cancelled that agreement after a week and signed up with Deb at Mercury Auto. Although she was impossible to get on the phone, we conversed easily by text and/or email and she warned me that it would take about a week to find a trucker that would charge me the $1300 maximum I was willing to pay. Sure enough, one week later Fast Trucking called, made an appointment to pick up the car in two days and off it went. My only (minor) complaint was that the trucker told me it would be there in 7 days, but it didn't actually arrive for 10, with little info as to what was going on near the end. Other than that, the car arrived in good shape; the price was exactly what Deb promised, and the car was delivered to the exact address requested. Yes I would use this company again!
