My agent was Ryan Fowler, and he was very thorough in explaining step-by-step the process of having my car shipped from Massachusetts to Ohio and made my shipping experience smooth and effortless. Ryan explained how Mercury Auto doesn't actually have a team of drivers at the ready to ship cars but, instead, they're an agent who does all the "heavy lifting" of screening through multiple bids from multiple independent drivers in order to determine the most reliable and reasonable pricing for delivery. Ryan will send you daily updates on the status of locating a driver; culminating in a confirmed appointment up to a day before the scheduled pick up of your vehicle. Though actual appointment of my own scheduled pick up came 3 days later than planned, it's still with the understanding that the shipping business is fluid and that it all depends on when and where drivers are available in any given area . It's important to note, however, that the initial price they quote you is "tentative" and it may cost you more or less depending on location and availability of an actual driver (my quote was $500, but ended up $650). In short, I would definitely recommend Mercury for your automotive shipping needs, and I give 5-stars to Ryan who guided me every step of the way.
