I wanted to get my car from East to West.
I had heard horror stories about lateness, waiting for days to get service and being overcharged. Two friends had paid $1,100 each. They both had to have someone else be at pick-up because the pick-up didn't happen until after he left town. And, it took their carriers two weeks to deliver the cars. In each case they had to rent a car to bridge the transportation gap.
Then I contacted Andrew Farnsworth at Mapletree and the rest was nothing like I had heard. They arranged the pick-up on Tuesday afternoon - at my convenience. Not only that, but the pick-up was on time. They said it would take between a few days to a week for the car to make the trip. I figured, OK, here is where they'll string me along. But again, no. The call to tell me my car was local came a mere three days later. I got over to where my car was, paid the $1,220 and drove my car away on Friday at noon.
If I ever have to ship a car again, there will be no question who to use. Mapletree did their job with excellent customer care, on budget and ahead of schedule.
