Magic Carpet is a knowledgeable auto transportation brokerage service. Michelle was very helpful in explaining what this company does in the process of having your vehicle delivered from point A to B. She was patient and knowledgeable in answering my questions about who and how my car would be transported.

The only issue I had was that the car was transported to its destination area nearly a week sooner than I was originally told it would be, without any prior warning from either Magic Carpet or the transport driver. This was quite a (pleasant) surprise, but a surprise nonetheless. Had the car arrived one day later than this, my family would not have been home for several days as we would have been on vacation. This would have then created a huge and unpleasant issue with the transport driver, as there would have been no one available to take delivery of the car and pay the driver.

My suggestion to Magic Carpet is that they put in place (if not already done so) a "package" tracking system similar to what FedEx and UPS use. This way customers can monitor the whereabouts of their vehicle and know if it will be delivered earlier/later than what was told to them by Magic Carpet. If this is not practical or feasible, then there at least needs to be some type of up-to-date communication between Magic Carpet, its contracted delivery drivers and the vehicle's owner, to prevent surprises such as early delivery dates.
