NJ to AZ with Michelle of Magic Carpet

The service at Magic Carpet was very good - Michelle was always very positive and tried her very best despite circumstances that I faced.
The carrier, Pace, was very good too - and actually delivered the car in 6 days instead of 7, so this was also very positive.
However, I had a very frustrating time getting my car picked up, and was hoping to get it picked up within 2 weeks of placing my order. Unfortunately that did not happen, which I was told was due to supply and demand, and it was suggested that I provide an additional $250 to the carrier as an incentive to get my car picked up. I suppose the supply and demand issue would have happened with any company I went with, as there just was apparently not anyone going from NJ to AZ, or there wasnt enough money in it for the driver to be interested, although I thought the original price was pretty attractive. I did not realize that my car, a Toyota 4-Runner, was considered oversized (not a sedan) until late in the game, and this may be a contributing factor for why noone was willing to pick it up (apparently there are only a few slots on the carrier where a non-sedan car can fit).
But, at last, the pickup occurred. Unfortunately, we had already left for AZ, so I had to arrange for someone to be available when the carrier did come. I was certainly very unhappy to have to pay a premium to incent the carrier, but this was unfortunately what was needed.

It was a bit of a challenge to make this transport work for you and I greatly appreciate your understanding with the way things operate in this industry.
