Having been my second time having a car shipped...I am very glad i made the choice to use Magic Carpet this time. From the first phone call the assistant was courteous and very friendly. The pricing and explanation of everything was clear and concise. In addition it was great knowing that i recieved a military discount for being active duty. The person on the phone i dealt with was named Stephanie, and she was very kind and patient; i had to call back a few times because i forgot to ask some questions, etc. The pickup in illinois went very well according to my parents. They said that the guy who came to pick up the car was a very nice man. He actually owned his own company and was the driver as well. The companies name was Mills Auto Transport and it was great. My car was enclosed and very well taken care of. After the 2nd day Mr. Mills called me and made sure that i knew around what time he would be coming- this was very helpful since i might have had to leave base. Regardless the timing worked out...and the two times i called him to ask a question it went to his voice mail...but he called me back within 5 minutes. Getting the car was easy and quick as well. The car was downloaded, i finished paying and was finally able to drive away with my old car. It was in perfect condition and not a thing had happened. Also, i was able to ship a bunch of stuff from home like my skis, etc...by putting them in the car. Mr. Mills said that it was no problem. All in all...i recommend this company very highly. They were great! And...they are competitively priced to all the others out there.
