This was the first time I had to have a car transported and I had no idea how the process worked. Best news for all of you reading this is that you don't have to get left hanging by an greedy carrier or an unethical broker. Contact THIS guy! Douglas Whatford doug_w@magiccarpertautotransport.com 360-853-2825. My story short version, I dealt with two other brokers who had no interest in working with carrier/drivers to get my car cross country. The first one was just a plain no show. The second broker (AAT) seemed to have inmate operators with little to no urge to connect my car with a driver.
They didn't return calls or emails and once I contracted with one agent, no other agent in the company. would provide any solution I paid an entire extra month more of rental car fees before I found this site and the reviews.My money and time would have been better served if I had used this Transport Reviews site and contacted Magic Carpet! Douglas at Magic Carpet Auto Transport out of Camas, Washington turned out to be a saint! He explained how as my broker he would negotiate with the carrier/driver to expedite the transport and keep me involved in the process. He was honest, provided excellent customer service and followed through just as he said he would. My car arrived safe and intact! If I need to transport a car ever again, I would not deal with anyone except Douglas.
