I purchased a vehicle through ebay "as is where is" and needed it picked up from north California and delivered to Olympia Washington. Don Edwards at Magic Carpet Transportation exceeded all my expectations with the transport. The vehicle I purchased was not running and was rather large. He explained the entire process and the costs of moving such a vehicle. He let me know exactly how much he was making, why he was charging that amount, how much the transportation itself would cost, and about how long it would take. He was very upfront and honest through the entire transaction. Once he located a suitable carrier, everything happened extremely fast. I figured it would take a few weeks to a month, but it only took a couple of days. Once the vehicle was picked up, it was delivered to the shop early, with no damage and no hastle. My only negative in the entire process is the need to pay the driver in cash. I can understand the reasoning, but at the same time, I have a hard time coming up with that much cash.
