Unlike a previous broker that I had to fire, Magic Carpet was quite upfront and honest about how the market works in the car hauling business. Although the upfront info Magic Carpet provided me is true and correct information, most folks may tend to view it as negative information, principally because one learns that one may have to increase his "bid" in order to get a trucker to haul his car when and where he wants it to be hauled. The broker I had previously hired (and then fired) did not give me this upfront information when I first hired him, but instead waited till a mere 3 days before the pickup date to blindside me with this info (ie, that I couldn't move my car at the price they originally quoted and that it would cost more). So even though this move cost me more than I thought it would, at least Magic Carpet was honest about the process and therefore I had some feeling that I knew what was going on.
