Second Time Was as Flawless as the First

We initially used Magic Carpet to ship an SUV from Richmond to Denver at the end of the summer, and decided to use them again to ship a second car from the Boston area to Richmond, VA. Greg replied to our online request for a quote and I was fortunate enough that he happened to answer my follow up call once we decided to ship instead of driving it down ourselves. Like the Magic Carpet rep who helped us the first time, he was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He gave us an initial quote of $710...$500 to the driver and the balance as their fee. I had told him that we were in no particular rush for this delivery (the first was time sensitive), but when the job hadn't been picked up after a few days he was able to locate a driver for $100 more and took that out of his fee. The actual trucking company, New Star LLC was also outstanding. When the car obscurely wouldn't start the driver patiently helped my husband get it running, was available to receive an alternative shipping destination (a car dealership in Richmond to get the car serviced) and just now delivered it a day ahead of schedule. I would definitely use Magic Carpet again should the need arise, and will (and have) highly recommend them to friends looking to have a car transported.
