What an amazingly simple experience!

I've never moved a car... so I looked around for an "enclosed" transport of my 1959 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite (a collector car requiring enclosed transport only). I had contacted the "big boys" but then checked out this transport review site and found Magic Carpet was right nearby my city (Portland, OR).
Not only was Magic Carpet a good 20 percent less, but they were available immediately (whereas others told me that my route wasn't common and that I might have to wait a month). They arranged for a private exotic car mover to pick it up in the east LA area and bring it to my home. I was initially told it would probably be 3-4 days, but it was just under 2!!! The driver got amazingly close to my home and on a Sunday morning it was easy to do (thanks to a lack of traffic). I paid the driver his cash and told him how to continue onward to Seattle. What an easy experiecne... and I'm certain that I couldn't really make that move myself (given the flight, food, motel, wear on the car, and the wear on ME)!
The car was in perfect condition (as were several other exotics on the truck - that had to be backed out to get mine out).
I'd recommend them in a heart-beat. What an amazingly simple experience!
