I purchased a vehicle in Los Angeles and needed to have it transported up to Seattle, WA. Since it's an expensive vehicle I opted for enclosed transport. I started calling some of the big name companies in enclosed transport including Passport, Horseless Carriage, and Intercity. No one seems to have any trucks going in that route at all. However, I need to have the car moved from the dealer before the end of the month and my work schedule is not very flexible. So, I turned to Magic Carpet Auto Transport, since they have great reviews here.

I understand fully before contacting MCAT that they are broker that contract with multiple independent auto transporters, so I am taking the risk that one of these independent contractor might not do a good job. However, this is not the case. Sheila at MCAT found a driver who agreed to pick up the car for me, but for $100 more than the quoted price. Since he could pick up the car and deliver the car based on my schedule, I decided to go with it.

Once every thing was arranged, the dealership released the car to Mike of Partain Transport on Tuesday 8/30. I was informed by the dealership, MCAT, and Mike that pick had occurred and gave me a delivery date of 9/1 at around 1300-1330. On the date of delivery, I received a call from Mike and he was on his way up I-5. After looking for a space long enough to park his pick & trailer, he called me and I met him 2 blocks from my condo. The car was in great condition. He pointed out all the flaws to me and did a complete walk around with me. I gave him his payment and a big fat tip and then I was on my way with new sports car. Overall, I was very impressed with MCAT and Partain.
