Teenager + senior week at the beach + disabled vehicle + 250 miles from home = huge headache for mom. Time was a big factor here, since the vehicle was disabled at a rental property and we didn't have the luxury of being able to leave it there for an indefinite period of time. I received quotes from several companies and had originally called a different company mainly because the name was familiar to me. That company promised they could get the vehicle transported quickly and then promptly stopped calling me back after 2 days.

Iron Auto was my next call and I chose them basically because they followed up with me twice about the job, even after I hadn't initially chosen them. They wanted my business and customer service seemed to be something that they did, unlike the first company. I spoke with Aaron N, and we contracted. A carrier was found shortly after the initial contact, but on the day of the pickup, through no fault of Iron Auto, the carrier they were using had some mechanical difficulties and cancelled the pickup at the last minute - again it wasn't Iron Auto's fault, it was just one of those things, but I was upset and Aaron N. handled that like a champ.

The second carrier was found the next day. He got the job done, stayed in touch with me via phone during the entire process, as did Iron Auto by sending me email updates when the carrier was dispatched, had possession of the car, etc. Mr. Onyekuru (the carrier) was professional, friendly and not even a little bit crabby, after a 3+ hour long drive through some of the lousiest rush hour traffic in the Northeast. And he unloaded that car exactly where I needed it to be.

Great job by everyone involved. I hope I never have the need to transport another vehicle from state to state, but if I do, I know who I'm calling.

p.s. I checked "yes" I was given an incentive to submit this review, because during the course of our conversations I was asked to leave a review and that my next transport would be discounted as a way of showing their appreciation. However, I would have left Iron Auto a glowing review without the promise of a discount on future services, just because they earned it. Let's be honest, discount on a future transport service is not something the average person ever hopes to be able to put to use LOL
