Stop searching and just go with Goliath

I wanted to have my late father’s car transported from Maryland to Texas, and not having transported a car before, I didn’t know who to contact. I wanted to work with a company I could trust with my dad’s car and not be overcharged in the process. I did a lot of research – reading online reviews, browsing Reddit (r/autotransport), etc. After many hours of this, I finally decided to request a quote from Goliath Auto Transport based on the positive reviews as well as my gut feeling. :) I submitted my request using Goliath’s website on a Saturday night, and received a response from Brittany on Sunday morning. I also requested quotes from other companies, but Brittany’s response felt more personal and included a lot of detail, not just an estimate. I felt that she was very customer focused. Later that week I reached out to Brittany to discuss more specifics and ask a bunch of questions, as this was all new to me. She explained everything and I felt more at ease after speaking with her. My situation was a bit more complicated, as my dad’s car was with a relative who had limited mobility. I asked if it was possible to find a carrier who could pick up the car from the residence vs. meeting in a large parking lot. Brittany was able to find a carrier the following morning who could accommodate this (UZ Haul – who were absolutely fantastic!) as well as pick up the car the next day. She gave me all the details about the carrier, including the dispatcher’s phone number and the driver’s name and phone number. Once the car was picked up on the scheduled day, Brittany sent me a link to follow the transport of my dad’s car as it was making it’s way to TX. The car made it down here with no issues, and even arrived earlier than I expected. I appreciate the time and attention which Brittany gave to me as an auto transport newbie. :) I was really nervous about the whole ordeal at first, but she took care of everything. And also - the cost of the transport was the same as the estimate (no price increases, extra fees, etc.) and I wasn’t spammed with unwanted calls and texts. I am very happy that I trusted my instincts and went with Goliath. (And I’m sure my dad would have approved as well!)
