Dave called me within an hour of my ordering the transport on Friday as soon as I had release from the auction house. Within another hour the transporter called to say they were picking up the vehicle and that they would be here Saturday or Sunday. I was skeptical because Salt Lake City, Utah to the Pittsburgh area is over 28 hours but sure enough they called Sunday afternoon to get clarification on where to deliver. So the service pickup was very fast and eliminated any worry about getting charged storage fees at the auction yard, and the delivery was also fast. The price was several hundred less than that offered on the car auction site. The only issue that came up was that they informed me that they had a full size 18-wheeler car carrier and wanted to make sure they would be able to deliver the car and turn around. While my driveway is plenty long enough luckily I remembered they would have to cross a local railroad grade on our main road which has warning signs posted about low trailers hanging up on it. So I texted that to the transporter and it turns out they had maybe 6"-7" clearance on their trailer which clearly was not going to make it over the tracks. They could have gone the long way around and delivered it to our door which would have been an extra hour for them (30 min extra there & back), but I have my own car hauling trailer so I agreed to off-load the car at the nearest town 5 minutes away instead. Everything went smoothly, no extra damage to the car, and the drivers were clean, friendly, and professional.
