I checked with about a dozen transport companies to move a new Tacoma from Tampa Bay Florida to coastal Oregon. I went entirely by reputation from this board and from those companies who with high ratings on this board moving their vehicles to my area in recent past. I'd originally planned on a company that I'd used a year ago with great success, but their quote was one of the highest I received. Narrowed it to three companies based on quote, reputation and how easy I felt my communication was with them.

Fred of GL Enterprises LLC was a match. He gave me the lowest quote, was fair about giving me a reasonable estimate for the time frame involved, and let me know that the current price of gas vs. driver interest in coming so far northwest might be a problem. He told me I could call/ email him day or nite. I did too and his response time was FAST!

I gave Fred a pickup date and five days later the truck was picked up. Four days later the truck arrived in Portland Oregon from Florida. Since I live in such a remote area, I needed to drive 3 hours to pick up the truck, but that has always been my experience transporting vehicles. I did not expect door to door service where I live. The driver gave me plenty of notice advance time to pick up the truck. The only *problem* is that he arrived about 4-5 days prior than what we'd expected. Not too much of a "problem". Was fantastic to get it so early! The truck arrived in showroom condition, the driver was friendly and courteous.

I'd have no hesitation to use GL Enterprises again. I enjoyed Fred's honesty and great sense of humor.
