These guys are HORRIBLE! I needed to ship my Toyota Sienna from Florida to California. I made a big mistake in not checking their reviews on this site. If you search for them, you will actually find that they have 2 listings "Five Star Auto Carriers" and "Five Star Auto Carriers Inc". Either way, you'll notice that one listing has them as being in business for only 1 month and the other listing has them in business for 2 months.
I talked to Michael Landin and arranged for them to post my car for pickup and transport. I did this 1 month in advance of my move to California. I wanted my Sienna picked up BEFORE I left Florida. Mr. Landin told me not to worry and that if I gave him a 3 day window for pickup, he could find me a driver. I gave him 4 days.
The pickup date came and went. I got no calls from them. They did not return any of my calls or my emails. They were avoiding me because they could not delivery.
At this point, I contacted another company (Door to Door Auto Transport Inc). Door to Door was helpful in understanding my situation and helped find me the next available driver. I was already in California when the driver was found.
I highly recommend Door to Door Auto Transport Inc and would use them again!
Stay away from Five Star Auto Carriers. I never heard back from these guys. Do your homework when you look to transport your vehicle. Some of these guys will promise you everything to get your business.
