After much research on the internet, I chose Excellent Auto Transport because it is a family-run business, does a moderate volume of jobs, and the person I dealt with on the phone was straightforward, clear, and cooperative. Everything happened as Sonia explained. Her quote was right in the middle of the range I found. She explained the jargon of the auto transort industry (a "carrier" is both the truck and the driver), and gave me a clear idea of what to expect. The carrier she found, Mike of Starway Logistic, was accommodating, prompt, courteous, and so competent as to inspire confidence that the job would be done right. And it was. Mike delivered both the car and the high expectations. He handled two glitches with poise and efficiency. Between them, Sonia and Mike made this transcontinental shipment as effortless and worry-free as possible.
