I would recommend Evergreen Auto Transport to anyone needing to transport a car from one state to another. I called around and some of the prices were outrageous. It would have been better to sell the car. After contacting Evergreen Auto Transport I decided to not sell the car. The car was transported as a gift to a family member. So, any money that is spent on transporting is more money spent on this gift. In turn, this would have become and added expense, burden, rather than a nice idea.
When I called Evergreen Auto Transport, I spoke with Sharon. She was very kind and patient and understanding. I explain our families situation to her. She did not act rude or impatient. I felt as though she was really listening and cared about what I was telling her. Sharon would call every day to let me know the status on our car being picked up by a carrier. She fully informed by of any options I had. When our account was being chosen by a carrier, she made sure that the timing would work out with everyone. Since I was not at either location but arranging it for family members, she gave me time to call them, check their schedule and get back with her. At that point things moved very fast. The driver was dropped off by a friend to picked up the car because it was in a gated community. They were there within a 5 hour time window. Even though the driver's English was not very good, Sharon gave us the phone number to his wife who could communicate in English. When the car was on its way, the driver called the family receiving the car to give them an estimated time the car would arrive. Then on that day he called with an update. His estimate was right on!
Some of the questions above were hard to answer since I was not at the pick up or delivery.
