The Estes Driver made the difference

I had a communications tower shipped from IL to AZ. It was the last week in December. I was able to use the Estes Express web site to track the shipment and when it made it to AZ the page updated Amazon style; 6 stops away, 5 stops away, etc. It gave an estimated delivery time of 5:32PM which was almost dead on. It was dark, cold and raining. I requested the tower be delivered on a flat bed for side off-loading. That didn’t happen. It came in a box truck and we don’t have a loading dock. The driver “Richard”, was friendly and creative. On the fly, he created a “web” of tie straps that allowed me to pull the tower out. Richard coordinated the final offload where I held up the front of the tower with my forks and he held up the rear of the tower with the truck’s lift gate. Together we lowered the 900lb tower to the ground. From there I was able to use our 3’ straps and center the load under my forks and store the tower, un damaged. Kudos to Richard for being customer focused, super friendly, and so creative on a cold, dark, wet night on December 29th.
