not much of a truck driver

I left the car with a relative in California to have it picked up so that I could be on the receiving end when it was delivered in Georgia. My house in Georgia is on a big circle so I found it odd that the driver refused to even come into the neighborhood to drop off the car. He wouldn't even had had to turn around but he flat out refused to drive into the neighborhood. Plenty of large moving trucks manage to come in and out and the roads are wide so there was no reason that he couldn't come into the neighborhood except for straight up incompetence.
Later I came to find out that on the pickup end the driver also refused to meet my relatives to pick up the car. They offered to meet in a large empty shopping center but again the driver refused. Instead he made them meet him on a busy highway overpass to load the car! If you can't maneuver a truck and can only drive it in straight lines then you shouldn't be driving one for a living! Had I known what he was asking my relatives to do on the pickup end I would have found another carrier to deliver the car. I recommend avoiding these guys!
