Nick, When you tell a company to pickup a RUNNING vehicle, the appropriate carrier is dispatched to pickup a vehicle in running condition. We sent a truck the day that you placed the order, 4 hours from the initial scheduling of your order. Our driver PAID YOUR STORAGE FEES and was not able to pick up the vehicle because the vehicle was INOPERABLE, meaning that the vehicle does not start and/or drive. By the time we found out that you had misinformed us of the condition of the vehicle, the auction was closed for the day (friday). The auction is closed, and not available for pickup, over the weekend, so those 2 days are out of our control.
Our policy for our deposit is as follows : we do not charge your deposit until we dispatch your vehicle and the driver accepts and confirms the move. We sent a driver to the auction, thus fulfilling our part of the deal. It was the fact that you were not honest with us when placing the order that prevented the driver from successfully completing the transport.
You and your sister have moved numerous vehicles with our services on many different occasions, without any issues. I can distincly remember you calling us after the successful completion of your first move to thank us and you expressed how quickly and professionally we handled your move.
So my adivce to you Nick : Make sure that you are HONEST with the next company that inherits your foul languaged temper tantrums. If you lie about your vehicles condition to get a cheaper price, it only presents more problems in the long run.
