I was very nervous about shipping my daughter's car from Texas to her college in South Hadley, Mass. It did not help reading all the horror stories on the internet about "my car never got picked up". Joe at EZ Auto Movers told me to make the arrangements as early as possible and "Don't Panic". If you have big control issues might want to drive your car. This involves a lot of trust. I would have liked more communication from their end, but whenever I called they were helpful and answered all my questions. The car was picked up on the morning after the day it was to be "ready". That was fine. It was a couple of days later than expected due to some mechanical problems with the truck on the way there, but the truck driver kept in communication pretty well. The car arriced on Saturday afternoon 9/8/07. That worked out fine as my daughter was not in any classes. The only really tense moment came when the driver balked at taking the certified bank check because it did not say "certified" on the check. He was never rude and the solution was fortunately a very simple online transfer of funds via Western Union. All in all I am very satisfied with EZAM and with Donny's Transport (the actual carrier). Now that I know how to do it, I will use them again when I ship my daughter's car to Massachusetts. Listen to what they tell you and follow their directions - then Don't Panic! Simple as that.
