After having shipped the car for the first time, I have come to realize that most of the shipping companies (like ECC Transport) are brokers and don't have any drivers of their own and hence have no reliable way of ensuring when they pick-up the car.
If anyone wants to get the car shipped, then one needs to be flexible as to when the car will be picked up.
