I was very hesitant in dealing with a shipping company (first time) to transport a classic muscle car all the way from Maryland USA to BC Canada. However, Allen convinced me that they were a legitimate company (broker), and that they were not a scam, which I was most concerned with in providing my credit card information to him. In searching for a vehicle for months online I came across many scams, which made me leary doing business over the Internet.

Allen took the time to prove to me their reputation speaks for themselves, and even went as far as to provide some personal information so I could confirm for myself that he wasn't part of a pyramid scheme in Africa or elsewhere. I googled him and the company, and then felt comfortable in my dealings with them. To put your own information on the line in dealing with someone you didn't know, is customer service above and beyond. I can't say enough about Allen, and how hard he works for the company.

I stressed to Allen how important it was for me to have constant communication prior to picking up, during transport, and delivering the vehicle, as I had heard horror stories from other people online at different websites about how their vehicle was held hostage by a shipping company, how the truck went missing, etc. Allen followed up with me on a regular basis, through to the end. He was sensitive to my comfort level in doing business with someone over the Internet.

Unfortunately, Maryland had the worst snow storms on record at the time the car was ready for pickup, which caused us to delay the availability date - outside of everyone's control. Once the car was available (after the city returned to normal), it only made sense that we had to wait for a truck that was able to do the long haul out to our part of the world. I was given the truck driver's name and cell phone number, and I could tell in speaking with him that he was very experienced. The truck driver (Kenny) went out of his way to ensure the vehicle got delivered by the date we needed it, meeting us in the middle of the night so we could still make our vacation flights the next day.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Domestic Auto Transport and the companies they use for shipping. Thanks for being so dedicated Allen!
