This was my first time using a vehicle transport service and as it turned out I was very pleased with the assistance and service I got from Holly at Domestic and Mike Wolfe, the driver of the carrier that transported my vehicle.
Holly and Mike were able to work through a bit of a glitch on the pickup end- it was coming from my mother-in-law's house up on top of a hill in rural Idaho, where there's a long, windy driveway I knew the carrier couldn't get through, so we made arrangements for my mother-in-law to meet Mike at a downtown gas station. As it turned out, though, none of us knew that the carrier couldn't make the highway into town because it was so curvy and tiny. So Mike made arrangements with my mother-in-law to meet her in a nearby city, and all went well.
He called me three times from the road, and arrived when he said he would. As I live on a cul-de-sac, he parked in a big lot a mile from my house, off loaded my vehicle, drove it to my house, and I brought him back to his truck.
It was a great experience and I'm quite pleased with the entire process.
