I decided to use Domestic Auto Transport b/c it was a company my friend recommended and I was pleased with the comments in the reviews that I read. Naomi was my primary representative and when she was not available, her coworkers were right there to answer my questions. Naomi was always pleasant and professional and listened to my concerns about finding a reliable transport company. She even encouraged me to look up the reviews for her company which is something I was actually doing when she called me after reviewing my request.
Based upon all of the negative things I heard about car transporting companies, I removed everything, and I mean everything, from my car. My car was picked up on a Monday evening at 6:20pm by a local towing company. The driver,Jack,from Do It Auto Transport, Inc. called me the next morning to say that he would have my car in CA by Thursday. I was in shock b/c I was prepared to be w/o my car for eight days. I actually was prepared for him to call me on Thursday to say that I would get my car at a later date. Instead, when he called me Thursday morning, he stated that he would be in the meeting city in 1.5 hours. I could not believe it. I was so happy when I saw my car on that truck although she was filthy from the ride across the country. (I guess that is why it was a total coincidence that we met up right in front of a car wash.) Given that I had just arrived to my destination less than 12 hours prior, I paid only a little over $6 for the car rental as opposed to the $40/day I was expecting to pay and placed a little over $22 in gas back in the rental.
Based upon this experience, I would recommend Domestic Auto Transport and working w/ Naomi to anyone in search of a car transportation company.
