To Mr. Peters and anyone else reading this review,
First let me say right off Domestic Auto Transport (DAT) and all of it's employee's are very sorry you have had a bad experience with the "Carrier". DAT goes above and beyond when it comes to our carriers and validating their insurance, we are even certificate holders on each and every carrier we are contracted with. As for your claim that the insurance we sent you was "Bogus" I have to disagree, it is valid and in full effect. You Mr. Peters are the one who refused to even follow proper procedures and file with the carriers insurance for your damages. "YOU" stated you were sending it your insurance and not gonna bother with the carriers company. As to your claim you have not heard from either company well that is also a false statement and we have all correspondence to prove it. Bill immediately started handling your claim that your vehicle was damaged the moment he found out. He did all he legally could, we are not allowed to legally file the claim for you and since you chose not too then the responsibility for that lies solely on your shoulders. It clearly states regardless of how you "FEEL" it should be that the responsibility of any and all damages that occur during transport are that of the carrier and not the broker, that is the Federal Law. Please feel free to take that issue up with them. As to your false accusations that we are "Implicit in this and other scams" please know I will be looking into our legal rights and compensation to your SLANDEROUS comments on this site as it pertains to loss of business. Thankfully our over 1700 reviews prove that our company and our service are anything but what you are claiming. As for your claim that Bill offered you a $30 Rebate for a good recommendation on this site, you have also misrepresented that in this review. DAT offers everyone of our first time customers a $30 Rebate if they take the time after their vehicle is transported and leave an honest review of our service as a broker. THE ONE STIPULATION WHICH IS CLEARLY STATED ON OUR WEBSITE IS THAT YOU LEAVE A REVIEW SOLELY FOR DAT AND NOT COMBINE THE REVIEW OF OUR SERVICE'S WITH THE REVIEW OF THE CARRIER WHO PHYSICALLY TRANSPORTED YOUR VEHICLE. DOING THIS WILL AND IN YOUR CASE HAS DISQUALIFIED YOU FROM RECEIVING THAT REBATE. If you would also like to leave a review for the carrier you can do so on this site and under that carriers company name. As long as the Rebate stipulations are followed the customer receive's their rebate. It is not for a 5 Star Review, it is simply for an honest review. You might want to go take the time to read it at http://www.domesticautotransport.com/rebate-program.html it is very clear. As for your threats not only with legal action but also the one's where you are going to physically come to our office, those to will be dealt with in any and all legal capacities we have available to us. ****OUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING TO US. OUR EXCELLENT REPUTATION IN THE TRANSPORT INDUSTRY SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. UNFORTUNATELY WE HAVE NO CONTROL WHEN SOMEONE CHOOSES NOT TO FOLLOW THE LAWS AND REGULATIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO THEM. IT IS OUR HOPE THAT ANY AND ALL READING THIS ALSO READ PAST IT TO WHAT THE 100's OF PREVIOUS CUSTOMER'S HAVE TO SAY OF OUR SERVICE AND HOW PLEASED THEY WERE.**** Mr. Peter's if you would like to discuss this issue with me you are more than welcome to call my office and ask for me.
