Damaged my 2005 Corvette as they unloaded the vehicle. Sat right there and watched in horror as the driver dragged the rear end on the asphalt. Damaged exhaust. During transport the front bumper was damaged as well with a 1" hole. My wife and son witnessed, photographed and videotaped the damage while it was occurring. Driver admitted causing all damage and apologized. Driver documented all damage he committed on Bill of Lading - Delivery. "Edgar," the owner said it was damaged "because there were personal items on the passenger seat" making it too heavy to transport. Then why did you pick it up? Why wasn't this alleged "personal property" box checked on the Bill of Lading - Received when the vehicle was picked up? Because there was none...the vehicle was empty! A Corvette passenger seat being filled with personal items so it is too heavy to transport? Are you kidding me? Besides, nothing was on the passenger seat...it is a Corvette! Even his driver acknowledged he damaged my car on the Bill of Lading and then signed it! Edgar has refused to pay for exhaust damages!
Do it Auto Transports Insurance Deductible is $2,500.00. My damage totals just under $2,000.00 so I cannot be reimbursed through their insurance company....what a nightmare!
Good luck speaking with Edgar...difficult for me to understand due to his foreign accent! I could not understand what I believed was possibly an Arabic accent??? Enough said!
Photos, videos and reports available to prove all of this! Cannot recommend. Don't take the risk!!!!
