Would use again, now that I know how the system works. Price was fairly reasonable compared to other quotes. Paid the $169 deposit up front and was assigned a carrier very quickly - day or two at the most. All good.
I would have liked more communication. I received one email from Direct Express at vehicle assignment, and then nothing from Direct Express until the survey email after delivery. They estimated the total time to be approx. 8 days, but it went to 10, apparently due to the weather. That was ok because weather was bad, but I would have liked some info during that time.
The 1st email did contain the name and contact info for the carrier assigned, so I bugged them a few times to get updates. First call to me after pick-up was 10 days later, a few hours before the driver expected to drop-off. Later, we agreed to make it the next morning due to the late hour. Vehicle drop-off had some major mis-communications between me and the driver. With our long, snowy and icy winter, I did not think the big truck would be able to make it onto our street. To help out, I walked to a nearby plaza where the carrier was supposed to be, but he had decided to sleep in a different area. I had a long cold wait in the parking lot to finally get the car. If I had a do-over, I would let him navigate the narrow side streets and stayed warm. Vehicle was quite dirty from the trip but otherwise in good condition.
