Bottom line my car was picked up and delivered safely - the primary objective was met. I was nervous about this upfront, so I was happy. It is a classic car in really good condition. The frustration I had with the process is the lack of communication. At the pick up, the first call received about picking up the car was the day before for the next afternoon. Then the time got moved a couple of hours later, then moved a couple of hours later again, then moved to 9:30pm and my father (who was shipping the car at origin) finally told the driver, "let's do it tomorrow during the day light". The same lack of advance communication and anticipated delivery time was experienced on the other end. The car was supposed to arrive in Seattle on Sunday or Monday according to the driver at origin. I waited around all day Sunday, called the driver twice to get a time range, but no response. I called Direct Express Monday morning who had to tell the driver to call me. The driver got sick and my car had been off loaded at a warehouse 1.5 hours south of Seattle without my approval or any communication - I was not happy. Due to scheduling issues it was finally delivered Wednesday evening. A large area for improvement is communicating with the customer to plan in advance pick up and delivery times - it would make your company much more efficient.
