Pick up time for my vehicle was on time at my home in Encinitas, CA. However, my vehicle did not get transported after a week at the El Cajon, CA terminal station. Transport time was approximately 4 days and the vehicle was again "stuck" in the Dallas area terminal. It was finally delivered after 14 days of initial pick up from my home in CA. Customer service during quoting for the transport said trucks leave California terminals daily, so I'm not sure why the week delay. I guess they forgot to mention that it has to be scheduled going out. I specifically mentioned that my new employer would be paying for the cost of the move, but they were never contacted. Instead, I had to have my new employer contact DAS. When the car arrived in Austin, I also instructed DAS to contact me 30 minutes prior to delivery so I can be present when the car arrived. They called when they arrived so the driver had to wait 20-30 minutes infront of our apt gate.

So no, I would not recommend DAS to transport a vehicle to anyone.
