Most auto shippers get TERRIBLE reviews online, so it is with some trepidation that I decided to use DAS as opposed to shipping at 2x the cost inside a 18-wheeler. The experience was very positive. The pickup person showed up within the specified time window, did a careful inspection, and loaded the car on a flatbed truck. I then started receiving regular email updates on the status of my shipment. The car spent 2-3 days in the local depot, and still made it to the destination a few days ahead of the promised time (5 days vs <7 day commit). There were only two very, very minor things they could have done better. The DAS "terminal" is actually a tow yard with a tiny DAS sign in a hard to see location, I had to circle around twice to find it. When the car arrived at the destination it was understandably dirty (open truck in the middle of winter going through some mountain passes). The "terminal" had put it through a half-hearted wash, I guess it is better than nothing but if they are going to do any wash they might as well spend an extra buck and do it decent. There was damage to the car whatsoever, overall my experience was completely satisfactory. They said what they will do and did as they said.
