Here is the deal with car shipping. If your paying $500, your gonna have problems. My quote was for $575. I added insurance and expedited service which brought my total up to $925. I chose to drop my car off at a terminal and it was off that day. I dropped it off on a Friday, tracked it over the weekend, and it was in Los Angeles on Monday. I picked it up in Gardena, CA. My Estimated Arrival Time was about 10 days, but it was there in 3. DAS has alot of bad reviews, but it seems those leaving bad reviews either A. had pretty specific needs B. didnt pay alot or C. needed pickup and drop off service.

Bottom line, if you are a little flexible on your times, are willing to pay a little more, and pick up and drop off your vehicle, i dont see any reason why your move should be any harder than mine was.
