I would recommend people wash their car or even wax it before dropping it off. Also, don't do it when it is really sunny since any fine lines on clearcoat will be written up as a scratch. The person receiving the car at the terminal will write up every single fine line in clear coat as if it was a real scratch. Lines that you won't even notice unless you are in really bright sunlight and you are about half an inch away from the service at a very sharp angle. It was pretty ridiculous. This is a way to really protect themselves I guess. However, a better way for them to do it is if they have scales that would represent different levels from extremely very fine lines in clearcoat to a deep scratch in paint. For now, any fine swirl lines on clearcoat caused by polishing would be written down as small scratches.

In addition, be careful to remove everything from the vehicle that you don't want DAS personnel to steal. I had left a small dreamcatcher on the rearview mirror which was stolen out of the car by DAS people by the time the car was delivered to me. I know you are suppose to remove everything, but come on. If the company is more professional and have people that have integrity, your property wouldn't be in danger of being stolen. For all you folks that are planning on using DAS, just make sure you remove everything from the car no matter how small it is if you don't want DAS to take it from you.
