Successful transport, long hold times

I was disappointed in how long the vehicle sat at different DAS hubs around the country on its trip. DAS did not communicate very well how long the vehicle would be sitting at the hub. When I called Customer Service they said they didn't know. I imagine that once a car is scheduled for pickup they would have a good idea of when it will be arriving at which hubs and could plan the route out more in advance than they let on to customers over the phone. I would like to see them include a section in the vehicle tracking on their website showing how long a vehicle will be sitting at a DAS facility while changing transporters.

Overall it was a good service, rather expensive for how long it took but I am satisfied. Be aware that when they do their inspection for pre-existiing damage before loading the vehicle onto the truck they will pick out every minor flaw, no matter how small. They do a good job of protecting themselves from claims that way and make it so that even if they do damage the car, the paper is so marked up with damage from the beginning that you couldn't possibly make a claim.
