I placed an order with Dash on 12/1/06 to transport my daughter's car from San Diego to Chicago for which I am paying $669 and they gave me a pickup window of 12/19 to 12/22. Then they said it would 12/26 "for sure." This kept going on and on and on and finally they got someone to pick up the car on 1/11/07. Steve said he would refund me $50 back to my credit card. They hired this company called Motorcade with a driver named Victor. Victor told me we would have the car at our door in 8-10 days. Then I called him and he said "this weekend" meaning 1/20 or 1/21. Then he called on 1/21 and said "Monday night or Tuesday morning." I called him Tuesday afternoon and he said "tomorrow, for sure." OK, tomorrow is here and still no car. A total of 37 days have elapsed since 12/19, the first day in the pickup window. Victor's "8-10 days" estimate has now turned into 14 and still no car. Steve Knapp promised me a $50 credit back to my account--never got it, and by the way, I think I deserve a hell of lot more than a measly $50 refund at this point! Also, Dash never called back when they said they would call back and Victor is a lying scum. He has given me excuses such as "bad weather" and "the truck stop lost my credit card." So, never, never, never use Dash or Motorcade.
