The Driver that was sent to Ron's home had every intention to transport his vehicle. When the carrier arrived he found a completely packed 2005 Lexus ES 330 with items such as a bicycle, TV, numerous bags and boxes of misc. items along with the tires to his bicycle in the trunk. Our contract does read 150Lbs are allowed in the vehicle during transport, but there is NO way Mr. Trammels completely packed vehicle fit into this bracket. When the carrier realized the amount of items that Mr. Trammel was trying to transport, the driver asked numerous times to take some of the items out of the vehicle because it would make him over weight. Ron answered ''take it the way it is or don't take it at all''. When transporting a vehicle Interstate there are certain weight restrictions that the drivers are limited to and if the weight exceeds the amount then the driver is issued a citation by the DOT at the weight station. Out of desperation the last thing the carrier offered before leaving was to increase the rate knowing that he would be overweight. The driver was even willing to take less then what the citation would cost him, again Ron refused claiming extortion. In business you can't make everyone happy but we always try to do the right thing.
