Good Price but customer service could use improvement

Talked to James at crossover. Overall, he was a friendly and honest person. He made the whole process very easy.

I asked for the car to be picked up after a certain date which was several weeks from the date that I made the actual appointment. This meant that the car was ready to be shipped on this date, however it could be shipped on a later date. I was expecting 24 hrs notification before the actual pickup, since the time allotment was open-ended. I was a bit surprised when James called me 20 mins before the actual pickup. This put me in a bit of a panic since I needed to make sure my parents were home in 20 mins (while I was across the country).

When I described this issue to James, he got quite defensive stating that the arrangement clearly stated that the pickup was for that certain date. While he was certainly right, I was a bit taken back by his defensiveness. I thought my constructive criticism (to confirm a pickup time 24hrs in advance if the pickup time is open-ended) was legitimate.

Crossover did quote me the best price and James was very knowledgeable and useful so I do recommend using them. However, I would advise potential clients to request either a confirmed pickup time/location or advanced notification.
