I spoke with many carriers/brokers and received probably 30 different quotes. All were resonable quotes, but when it came down to it, I went with Creative for a few reasons:
1. They have a good/better rating with the BBB 2. The representative's knowledge, willingness to explain everything in detail, and friendliness. 3. The honesty of the rep...she did not try to give me false impressions or vague details about pick-up dates and the way the dispatching works. I even had one company place my car up for pickup without my permission or even notifying me. Najah was WAY more up-front about what to expect and more importantly; WHAT NOT to expect. 4. The speed at which all my calls and E-mails were answered.
I was extremely happy with the outcome. The carrier called me/kept in touch throughout the pick-up, the drive, and the delivery. The car was in the same shape when delivered as it was when picked-up, and the carrier/driver was pleasant and friendly.
Suggestions for customers: Get shipping insurance that covers anything that your ordinary insurance, or the carrier insurance doesn't. It is affordable and you will have more peace-of-mind. Brokers are not going to cover damage/loss from negligence of the carrier, or acts of God and that is reasonable. So, you can avoid the worry with an inexpensive one-time shipping coverage for your auto. I won't advertise the company I used, but would suggest that you do some research and you will see that it is a necessity for your complete peace of mind during the shipping process.
I'd recommend Creative Rides any day based on my experience with them.
