Consolidated Auto Transport never completed the job in the timeframe & conditions Jai agreed upon. They have not refunded $175 deposit. This company is operating as BATE & SWITCH. On 2/26 I filled out an internet job request to have my car transported from Massachusetts to New Jersey for the dates 2/28 or 3/1. Several companies replied but could not do the job in the time frame I requested. Jai from Consolidated Auto Transport called me at home on 2/26 and said they could do the job. I made it clear about the requested dates and my son had to come back with his vehicle. He said, "He could get the carrier and my son could get a ride back with the driver." Jai understood my request.First he asked for the $300. I said I didn't have that amount. He called several times that day. On 2/27 I called Jai and told him I could pay $175 for a deposit and $125 COD he agreed. Jai said, "If I don't have the carrier there on 2/28 definitely on 3/1." Never heard from Jai or anyone from Consolidated Auto Transport. Finally on 3/4 Jai said the truck broke down. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau in Florida to investigate
