Sorry this review is a bit long, but I have a lot of good things to say :-) Coastal Car Transport stood out to me from the start. I got 20 phone calls in one day when I submitted my info online for quotes, but Henry didn't waste my time. He gave me a price ($550 to take my car from Atlanta to Houston) and said I should check his 5-star ratings on this site, and call back if I was interested. I did my research and everything checked out. I had received a couple of quotes at $500, but all of those companies had terrible reviews and I wasn't going to risk my car to save just $50. At the time I checked, CCT only had a couple of ratings that were less than 5 stars, and none of those were less than 3. That's a great track record for a year's worth of reviews, and none of the other companies that I heard from beat that.
I'm very glad I didn't make my decision solely based on price because I had a great experience with CCT. The quote I was given that day was what I paid. I never felt uncomfortable either- when I said I needed to speak with my husband before booking, I wasn't subjected to an aggressive sales pitch. Once the deposit was paid, Henry got a driver for me within 24 hours. He was available by phone and text through the entire process, and also very attentive. Before I figured out how to get off the quote contact list, I was still getting phone calls from other brokers trying to get me to switch. One company in particular was VERY pushy and rude. That guy tried to tell me that I could never get a driver at that price and that Coastal was trying to underquote me and rip me off. He even tried to put a higher bid up without me even booking them! But Henry called me immediately to let me know how I could resolve the situation.
My driver, Roberts Auto Transport, was terrific too- he contacted me with updates on the pickup and delivery and my car arrived in the same condition it had left. The car was delivered within 48 hrs of pickup. If I ever need to ship a car again, I will definitely choose Coastal Car Transport and highly recommend their services!
