I needed to transport my car from the Daytona Beach area to the Fort Lauderdale area the week before Christmas. I received dozens of online and phone quotes from brokers. All were over $300 for the one-way transport. Way too much to make it worth my while.
I was finally referred to Dennis of Certified Auto Carriers, a newer, independent, family owned, transport company - not a broker. It was easy to communicate by phone with Dennis and by e-mail with his wife, Wandalys. We made arrangements for Dennis to pick my car up that Thursday afternoon. He called ahead to let me know he was on his way so I could have the car ready for pickup. He took my car back to his home base in Apopka that afternoon. He left early the next morning with my car and another which he dropped off in West Palm Beach. He then dropped mine off at the prearranged destination near Hollywood, where he was paid the agreed upon amount of $200 cash. He called me that Friday morning to confirm that he had dropped off my car without incident. My car was transported to just where I needed it in less than 24 hours. Most brokers gave me a delivery 'window' of 14 days or more.
The folks at Certified are very nice people who I found to be accommodating and reliable. They did not ask me to write this review, nor do they know (yet) that I am submitting one. I just believe good, reasonable companies deserve the business. I would highly recommend Certified Auto Carriers to transport a car. Andy W.
