I found CVS through TransportReviews.com. I needed two cars shipped in an enclosed carrier from Redwood City to Northridge. I was under time pressure and needed them picked up within a week and delivered only after I was able to make the trip down there myself a few days later to coordinate with the arrival of the rest of my belongings.

Due to a minor miscommunication with CVS my order didn't get placed for a few days making the time pressure even greater. To his credit Kevin found a carrier very quickly but they could not deliver on my schedule. My options were to go with them and pay for two days of storage or look for another carrier. Kevin recommended paying the storage since the chances of getting an accommodating carrier on such short notice was slim. I took his advice.

Getting the billing worked out also took a bit of effort. My company could only cut a single check and CVS required payment credit card or electronic check. I ended up paying myself to keep it simple. A minor issue, but still inconvenient. Finally, there was another miscommunication regarding the type of payment expected by the carrier but this may have been out of the hands of CVS by this point.

In the end I was pleased to be able to get my cars shipped in an enclosed carrier essentially at the last minute. The process required a bit more work on my part than I expected (the rest of my belongings were shipped on the same schedule without a hitch) but I would do business with CVS again.
