We apologize for the bad experience that you feel you have had.
As it states in our terms and conditions:
The normal pickup timeframe is 1 to 10 business days. Pickup and delivery dates are contingent upon carrier availability and season. All dates and times given are an approximation. We cannot guarantee exact dates or times of when the vehicle will be picked up or delivered. Carriers may be subject to delays. Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. will not be held responsible for any expense related to a delay (car rental fees, storage fees, accommodation fees, etc.)
Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Inc. does not guarantee transport by any specific driver, carrier, or along any specific route.
We do offer an expedited service, but you were not signed up for that service. You did receive that information in the original quote that you received.
You placed your order with us on 8/6/08. Your vehicle was picked up on 8/13/08. We were still within our 10 day window.
Unfortunately everything with drivers are an approximation as it states in the above terms and conditions. As for the vehicle being dirty, you had a vehicle transported cross country on an open carrier, it is going to accumulate dust and dirt from traveling. Perhaps an enclosed carrier would have been a better solution for you, it would have prevented some of the dust and dirt that you collected, but not prevented all.
