This was my first experience transporting a car. My first call was to a broker of sorts, who took my information. He said I would receive at least ten quotes within the first hour. I received over thirty in the first five minutes. I decided on Cascade Shipping because they were the only ones who contacted me by phone. Their follow up really impressed me, a personnel touch. I might add that they were not the cheapeast, more in the middle. It was however, the person that I dealt with that made the difference, a great gal by the name of Gerry. The actual trucking of the car was another story. The first truck said that the vehicle was to tall-no way. The next scheduled truck could not take it. The third time was a charm. The car was picked-up in Oregon, and ten days later dropped off in California. The time line was way to long, but all thru the process my contact (Gerry) kept in touch with me. It turns out that the truck broke down in Northern California, things like that will happen. The truck driver was very nice and proffesional, and the transport company was outstanding, even with the long delay.
